How To Build Cornhole Boards?

Gather materials: 2×4 lumber, 1/2-inch plywood, wood screws, wood glue, sandpaper, paint or stain, and cornhole bags

Cut four 2x4s for each frame: two at 48 inches and two at 21 inches

Cut two 2x4s for each leg: one pair at 11 1/2 inches and one pair at 12 inches

Cut 1/2-inch plywood to 24 inches by 48 inches for each board top

Mark a 6-inch diameter hole centered 9 inches from the top edge

Drill a starter hole and use a jigsaw or hole saw to cut the hole

Sand all cut edges and surfaces smooth

Assemble the rectangular frame with wood glue and screws

Attach the plywood top to the frame with screws

Build and attach folding legs to the underside of the frame

Round or bevel the front edge if desired

Fill screw holes with wood filler and sand again

Paint, stain, or seal the boards

Let the finish dry completely

Check board height and stability before use

Make a second identical board

Place the boards 27 feet apart for regulation play
