How To Bulk Delete Gmail?

Open Gmail

Select the emails you want to delete by checking the boxes

Click the trash icon

To delete all emails in a search or folder, use the search bar or open the folder first

Click the checkbox at the top to select all visible emails

Click the message that appears to select all conversations in that category or search

Click the trash icon

To delete all emails in your inbox, search for `in:inbox`

To delete all unread emails, search for `is:unread`

To delete all emails from a sender, search for `from:sender@example.com`

To delete emails older than a certain date, search for `older_than:1y` or `before:2024/01/01`

To delete all emails at once, select all visible emails, then select all conversations

Open the Trash folder

Click Empty Trash now

Confirm the deletion

On mobile, open the Gmail app

Tap and hold an email to select it

Tap additional emails to select more

Tap the trash icon

Use search filters to narrow results before deleting

Use Gmail settings and filters to automatically delete future emails if needed
