Convert the percentages to a decimal if needed
Use the absolute neutrophil count formula:
ANC = WBC × (neutrophils as a fraction + bands as a fraction)
Example: WBC 5,000/µL, neutrophils 60%, bands 5%
ANC = 5,000 × (0.60 + 0.05)
ANC = 3,250/µL
