Add the grade points earned in all subjects
Add the credit hours of all subjects
Multiply each subject’s grade point by its credit hours
Sum all the grade point × credit hour values
Divide the total grade point × credit hour sum by the total credit hours
Use the formula: CGPA = Total Grade Points Earned ÷ Total Credit Hours
If all subjects have equal credits, divide the sum of grade points by the number of subjects
Round the result if your institution requires it
