List each course and its grade
Convert each letter grade to grade points using your school’s scale
Multiply each course’s grade points by its credit hours
Add all the quality points together
Add all the credit hours together
Divide total quality points by total credit hours
Use the result as your GPA
Repeat the same process for weighted GPA if your school uses extra points for honors or AP classes
