Log in to the LIC customer portal using your registered username and password
Go to the policy details section
Check whether your policy is eligible for online surrender or cancellation
Select the policy you want to cancel
Choose the surrender or cancellation option
Fill in the required bank account and nominee details
Upload any required documents, if prompted
Submit the cancellation request
Note the reference number for tracking
Wait for LIC to verify the request and process the cancellation
Contact your LIC branch or agent if the online option is not available for your policy
