Warm corn tortillas until pliable
Place filling along one edge of each tortilla
Roll tightly into a thin tube
Secure with toothpicks if needed
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
Fry flautas seam-side down until golden and crisp
Turn and fry all sides evenly
Remove and drain on paper towels
Serve with salsa, guacamole, sour cream, or lettuce
