How To Make Pork Belly?

Choose a pork belly slab with skin on or off

Pat the pork belly dry

Score the skin or fat if desired

Season with salt and pepper

Add garlic, paprika, brown sugar, or other preferred spices

Preheat the oven to 300–325°F

Place the pork belly on a rack in a roasting pan

Roast until tender, about 2.5 to 4 hours depending on size

Increase the oven temperature to 425–450°F

Roast until the skin or exterior is crisp and browned

Remove from the oven and rest for 10–15 minutes

Slice and serve
