Log in to your PayPal account
Go to Settings
Select Account
Click Close your account
Follow the on-screen prompts
Confirm the account closure
Download any needed transaction records before closing
Make sure your balance is zero before closing
Cancel any active subscriptions or automatic payments first
Remove any linked bank accounts or cards if needed
