Open PayPal and sign in
Go to Activity
Find the pending payment
Click the payment
Check the status
If there is a Cancel option, click Cancel
Confirm the cancellation
If no Cancel option appears, the payment cannot be canceled from PayPal
Contact the recipient or seller to request a refund
If the payment was sent to an email address that is not yet claimed, it may be possible to cancel it
If the payment is pending because of an eCheck, wait for it to clear or contact your bank
If the payment is pending due to an authorization, the merchant may void it
