Open Settings
Go to Windows Update
Click Pause updates
Select a pause duration
To stop a download in progress, open Services
Find Windows Update
Right-click Windows Update
Click Stop
Open Command Prompt as administrator
Run `net stop wuauserv`
Run `net stop bits`
To uninstall a recent update, open Settings
Go to Windows Update
Click Update history
Click Uninstall updates
Select the update
Click Uninstall
Restart the PC
