Check that your laptop and TV support the same casting method
Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network
On Windows, press Windows + K or open Cast/Project settings
On Mac, open Control Center and select Screen Mirroring
On Chrome browser, open the menu and choose Cast
Select your TV from the available device list
Enter the pairing code if prompted
Choose whether to mirror the screen or extend the display
Adjust TV input settings if using an HDMI cable
Use an HDMI cable and connect the laptop to the TV if wireless casting is unavailable
Select the correct HDMI input on the TV
Update laptop and TV software if the TV does not appear
Restart both devices if the connection fails
