Knit the first two stitches
Insert the left needle into the first stitch on the right needle
Lift it over the second stitch and off the needle
Knit one more stitch
Lift the previous stitch over the new stitch and off the needle
Repeat knitting one stitch and passing the previous stitch over it
Continue until one stitch remains
Cut the yarn, leaving a tail
Pull the tail through the last stitch and tighten
