Open the padlock with the current combination
Locate the reset lever, reset pin, or reset hole on the lock
Move the reset lever to the reset position or press and hold the reset pin
Set the dials to the new combination
Return the reset lever to its original position or release the reset pin
Scramble the dials
Test the new combination several times before use
