Open the image in Photoshop
Select the subject using the Quick Selection Tool, Object Selection Tool, or Pen Tool
Refine the selection using Select and Mask
Create a layer mask from the selection
Add a new background layer below the subject layer
Place a new image or fill the background with a solid color
Adjust the subject edges if needed
Save the file in the desired format
