Locate the small seam or release slot on the key fob
Press the release button or use a flat tool to separate the fob halves
Open the key fob carefully
Remove the old battery
Note the battery type and orientation
Insert the new battery in the same position
Snap the key fob halves back together
Test the key fob buttons to confirm it works
