Select the cells containing the dates
Right-click the selected cells
Click Format Cells
Go to the Number tab
Select Date
Choose the date format you want
Click OK
Or press Ctrl+1 to open Format Cells
Or use Home > Number Format dropdown
Or use a custom format in Format Cells > Custom
Enter a format like mm/dd/yyyy, dd-mm-yyyy, or yyyy-mm-dd
Click OK
