Press and hold the Adjust button until the display starts flashing
Press the Mode button to cycle through the settings until the date field appears
Use the Start/Stop or Search button to change the value
Press the Mode button to move between month, day, and year
Repeat until the correct date is set
Press the Adjust button again to save and exit
