Open the Facebook app or go to Facebook on a browser
Tap/click your profile picture or your name to go to your profile
Tap/click the three dots (menu) or Settings and privacy
Tap/click Settings
Tap/click Personal details
Tap/click Name
Enter your new first name, middle name (if applicable), and last name
Tap/click Review change or Save changes
Enter your password if prompted
Upload an ID if Facebook requests verification
Submit the request
Wait for approval (if required)
Check your profile to confirm the updated name appears
