Open the game or app settings

Look for frame rate, FPS, or refresh rate options
Select the desired FPS limit or refresh rate
Apply the changes
Restart the game or app if required
If no in-app option exists, open your graphics card control panel
Set a frame rate cap or V-Sync option there
Change your monitor refresh rate in Windows display settings if needed
Save the settings and test the new frame rate
