Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad

Tap Sign-In & Security
Tap Change Password
Enter your device passcode if prompted
Enter your new Apple ID password
Confirm the new password
Tap Change
On a Mac, open System Settings
Click your name
Click Sign-In & Security
Click Change Password
Enter your Mac password if prompted
Enter your new Apple ID password
Confirm the new password
Click Change
On the web, go to iforgot.apple.com
Sign in with your Apple ID
Follow the prompts to reset your password
Create a new password
Confirm the new password
Use a strong password
Sign in again on your devices with the new password
