Cup your hands around your mouth with fingertips together and palms slightly apart
Keep your lips closed and form a small “O” with your mouth
Blow a steady burst of air through the small opening between your lips and fingers
Press your fingers firmly against the sides of your mouth to create a narrow air path
Adjust the gap between your fingertips until the sound becomes a clear whistle
Keep your tongue relaxed and slightly back to avoid blocking airflow
Practice with small changes: widen or narrow the finger gap, and vary the force of the air
Stop and reset your hand position if the pitch drops or the sound turns into a hiss
Try again in short bursts until you find a consistent pitch
