Open Gmail and sign in to your account
Click the gear icon in the top right
Select See all settings
Go to the Accounts and Import tab
Under Send mail as, click edit info
Enter the new name you want to display
Click Save Changes
If you use Google Account profile name, go to myaccount.google.com
Click Personal info
Click Name
Edit your first and last name
Click Save
