Shut down the PC
Unplug the power cable
Press the power button for a few seconds to discharge residual power
Open the PC case
Locate the RAM slots on the motherboard
Release the side clips on the RAM slot
Remove the old RAM module if needed
Align the notch on the new RAM with the slot
Insert the RAM firmly until the clips lock into place
Repeat for additional RAM modules
Close the PC case
Reconnect the power cable
Turn on the PC
Check BIOS or system settings to confirm the RAM is detected
If needed, reseat the RAM or verify compatibility
