Gather a microfiber cloth, whiteboard cleaner or isopropyl alcohol, and a dry eraser
Erase all dry marker ink from the board
Spray cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the whiteboard
Wipe the board in straight, overlapping strokes
Use a clean dry cloth to remove any remaining moisture
Remove stubborn marks with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a cloth
Wipe the board again with a clean damp cloth if needed
Dry the board completely with a soft cloth
Clean the whiteboard tray and markers
Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, and paper towels
