For stuck-on residue, make a paste of baking soda and water, apply, and let sit 5–10 minutes, then scrub gently
Rinse thoroughly with warm water
Dry immediately with a microfiber cloth to prevent water spots
Remove water spots and light discoloration with white vinegar or diluted citric acid on a cloth, then rinse and dry
For fingerprints and streaks, spray with a stainless-steel cleaner or rub with a small amount of mineral oil, then buff dry
If needed, use a stainless-steel polish and buff with the grain
For tough stains (e.g., rust), use a cleaner labeled for stainless steel or a rust remover safe for stainless steel, following the product directions, then rinse and dry
Avoid steel wool, abrasive pads, and harsh scouring powders that can scratch
Avoid bleach and cleaners containing chlorine
Avoid leaving cleaning products to sit longer than the label recommends
Regularly wipe and dry after use to reduce buildup and spotting
