Turn off the oven and let it cool completely
Remove oven racks and any loose debris
Wipe out crumbs and food particles
Make a paste of baking soda and water
Spread the paste on the oven interior, avoiding heating elements
Let the paste sit for several hours or overnight
Spray or wipe vinegar onto the paste to help lift residue
Scrub the interior with a non-abrasive sponge or cloth
Wipe away loosened grime with a damp cloth
Rinse the cloth and repeat until all residue is removed
Clean the oven door glass with a suitable cleaner or baking soda paste
Wash the oven racks separately in warm soapy water
Dry the racks and place them back in the oven
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild cleaner
Leave the oven door open briefly to air dry completely
