Connect to your router’s Wi-Fi or use an Ethernet cable
Open a web browser
Enter your router’s IP address in the address bar
Log in with the current admin username and password
Go to the Wireless, Wi-Fi, Security, or Password settings section
Find the option for Wi-Fi password, network key, or passphrase
Enter a new strong password
Save or apply the changes
Reconnect all devices using the new password
If you want to change the router admin password, open the Administration, System, or Management section
Find the admin password option
Enter the current admin password and then the new admin password
Save or apply the changes
Write down the new password and keep it secure
