Visit your current SBI branch or the new branch you want to shift to
Fill and submit the branch transfer request form
Carry your passbook, cheque book, debit card, and valid ID proof
Provide your account number and current branch details
Submit a written application requesting branch change
If required, update your address proof for the new location
Complete any KYC verification asked by the bank
Ask the bank to transfer your account to the new branch
Collect confirmation after the branch change is processed
Update linked services if needed, such as standing instructions or ECS mandates
