Open Snapchat
Tap your Bitmoji or profile icon in the top left
Tap the gear icon to open Settings
Scroll to the My Account section
Tap Name
Enter the new name
Tap Save or the check mark
If you want to change the displayed name for a friend, open Chat
Tap and hold the friend’s name
Tap Edit Name
Enter the new name
Tap Save
