Open the Messages app
Open the conversation
Tap the contact name or photo at the top
Tap Info if shown
Look for a background, wallpaper, or theme option
If available, select your preferred background
If no background option appears, iPhone Messages does not support changing text message backgrounds directly
Use a custom wallpaper for the conversation if your iPhone version or app feature supports it
