Open the BIOS/UEFI setup on your computer
Look for Keyboard, Function Key Behavior, Action Keys, or Hotkey Mode
Change the setting to Function Key first or Multimedia Key first, as needed
Save the changes and restart the computer
If your keyboard software has a function key option, open it and adjust the setting there
On some laptops, use the Fn key plus Esc to toggle function key behavior
Check the manufacturer support page for your specific model if the setting is not available
