Open the Control Panel
Click User Accounts
Click User Accounts again
Click Change your account name
Type the new name
Click Change Name
Sign out and sign back in
Open Settings
Click Accounts
Click Your info
Click Manage my Microsoft account
Sign in if needed
Edit your profile name online
Save the changes
Restart or sign out and sign back in
Press Windows + R
Type netplwiz and press Enter
Select the user account
Click Properties
Change the Full name field
Click OK
Click Apply
Open Computer Management
Click Local Users and Groups
Click Users
Right-click the user account
Click Rename
Type the new name
Press Enter
Open the Start menu
Search for Control Panel
Open Control Panel
Click User Accounts
Click Change account type
Select the account
Change the account name if available
