Type your message using these formatting symbols:
Bold: put asterisks around the text, like *text*
Italic: put underscores around the text, like _text_
Strikethrough: put tildes around the text, like ~text~
Monospace: put three backticks around the text, like “`text“`
Send the message to apply the style
Use your phone’s keyboard settings or a font app if you want different font styles outside WhatsApp formatting
