Watch the NPC’s disposition and mood
Choose Admire when the NPC likes that action
Choose Boast when the NPC dislikes that action
Choose Joke when the NPC is neutral or mildly positive
Choose Coerce only when the NPC’s dislike for it is low enough to be worth the risk
Rotate the four options each round to maximize gains and minimize losses
Use the largest wedge on the highest-value action
Save before starting if you want to retry
Increase Speechcraft to make persuasion easier
Use Charm spells or items to raise disposition before persuading
Bribe if persuasion is failing and you need a fast result
Aim to raise disposition above the required threshold for quest progress or services
