Open the LinkedIn profile you want to check
Look at the profile URL in the browser address bar
Identify the username part after linkedin.com/in/
If the URL contains a custom name, that is the LinkedIn public ID
If needed, click the profile photo or name to open the full profile page
Check the profile’s About or Contact section for profile links
Use the LinkedIn mobile app and open the profile to view the same public URL
Copy the profile link and inspect the last part of the URL
If you need the numeric LinkedIn member ID, use the page source or LinkedIn API access if available
Verify the ID by comparing it with the profile name and photo
