Open Microsoft Excel
Click File
Click Account or Office Account
Look for the About Excel section
Check the version number and build information
On older versions, click File
Click Help
View the version details under About Microsoft Excel
On Windows, you can also right-click the Excel app icon
Select Properties
Check the Details tab for version information
On Mac, click Excel in the menu bar
Click About Microsoft Excel
View the version information in the dialog box
