Click the Apple menu
Select About This Mac
View the Memory or RAM section
Open Activity Monitor
Click the Memory tab
Check memory usage and pressure
Use System Information
Select Memory under Hardware
Check the RAM details listed there
Open Terminal
Type `system_profiler SPHardwareDataType | grep Memory`
Press Return
Check the displayed RAM amount
