Open Facebook and log in to your account
Tap the Menu icon
Go to Friends
Tap Friend Requests
Check the list of pending requests
Open a person’s profile to see if the Add Friend button has been sent already
Go to Activity Log
Filter for Friend Requests if available
Review your sent requests in the relevant section
Use the search bar to find the person and check request status
If the Add Friend button shows Requested, the friend request has been sent
