Select the state if required
Fill in the captcha code
Click on the search or submit button
View the TAN details displayed on the screen
Check the TAN on Form 16, Form 16A, TDS challans, or TDS returns
Verify the TAN with the deductor’s official records
Contact the deductor or employer if the TAN is not available
Use the NSDL Protean TIN website for TAN verification if needed
