How to Cite Websites in MLA?

Author’s last name, first name. “Title of Webpage.” Title of Website, Publisher, publication date, URL.

If no author is listed, start with the title of the webpage in quotation marks.

If no publication date is listed, use the abbreviation “n.d.”

If the website title is the same as the publisher, omit the publisher name.

Include the full URL without “https://” if your instructor prefers MLA 9 style with URLs shortened only when necessary.

End the citation with a period.
