Unplug the blender
Remove the jar from the base
Take off the lid and blade assembly if removable
Rinse the jar, lid, and blades with warm water
Fill the jar halfway with warm water
Add a drop of dish soap
Blend for 20 to 30 seconds
Pour out the soapy water
Rinse all parts thoroughly
Wash stubborn residue with a sponge or bottle brush
Clean the blade area carefully
Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth
Dry all parts completely
Reassemble the blender
Store it clean and dry
