Unplug the coffee maker and let it cool
Remove the filter and discard used grounds
Wash the carafe, filter basket, and removable parts with warm soapy water
Rinse and dry all removable parts
Fill the water reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water
Run a brew cycle halfway, then pause for 30 minutes
Finish the brew cycle
Run one or two full cycles with clean water
Wipe the outside and warming plate with a damp cloth
Clean the spray head and other small parts if needed
Repeat the cleaning process regularly
