Remove fingerprints and smudges regularly
Use a polishing cloth for silver or plated surfaces
Do not use water on pads or cork
Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials
Let the flute air dry before putting it away
Store the flute in its case when not in use
Clean the case occasionally
Have the flute serviced by a professional when needed
