Clean the needle with a paper clip or Keurig cleaning tool

Reassemble the machine

Fill the reservoir with equal parts white vinegar and water, or use a descaling solution

Run brew cycles without a K-Cup until the reservoir is empty

Let the machine sit for 30 minutes if descaling with vinegar

Rinse the reservoir thoroughly

Fill the reservoir with fresh water

Run multiple water-only brew cycles until the vinegar or solution is gone

Repeat rinsing if needed

Replace the water filter if your model uses one

Clean the machine regularly to prevent buildup
