How To Clean A Microwave?

Unplug the microwave or turn off power at the switch

Remove the turntable and any racks/plates

Wash the turntable and removable parts with warm soapy water

Wipe the interior with a damp cloth to remove loose debris

Fill a microwave-safe bowl with 1–2 cups of water and add 1–2 tablespoons of white vinegar or lemon juice

Place the bowl inside and microwave on high for 3–7 minutes until the steam condenses on the walls

Let it sit for 1–3 minutes before opening the door

Wipe the interior walls, ceiling, and door area with a soft cloth or paper towels

Remove stubborn spots with a non-scratch sponge or cloth

For grease buildup, mix baking soda with a small amount of water to form a paste, then gently scrub and wipe clean

Wipe the interior with a clean damp cloth to remove any residue

Dry with a towel or let the door remain open briefly to air-dry

Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild dish soap if needed

Wipe the control panel area carefully with a lightly damp cloth (avoid soaking)

Dry everything thoroughly

Reinstall the turntable and racks

Plug back in or turn power on
