Power off and disconnect the AirPods Max
Remove the ear cushions from the ear cups
Wipe the ear cups with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth
If needed, slightly dampen the cloth with fresh water
Avoid getting moisture into any openings
Do not use soap, detergents, or abrasive cleaners on the ear cups
Dry the ear cups completely with a clean, dry cloth
Let them air-dry fully before reattaching the ear cushions
Reattach the ear cushions once everything is completely dry
