Park the car in a shaded area and let the windshield cool
Gather glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, and paper towels if needed
Remove loose dust and debris from the windshield
Spray glass cleaner onto a microfiber cloth or directly onto the glass
Wipe the windshield in overlapping horizontal or vertical strokes
Clean the inside of the windshield the same way
Use a second dry microfiber cloth to remove streaks
Clean the edges and corners of the windshield
Repeat on any remaining spots or smudges
Check the windshield from different angles for streaks
Replace dirty cloths as needed
Keep the windshield clean regularly to prevent buildup
