Close the shades fully
Dust with a microfiber cloth, feather duster, or vacuum using a brush attachment
Spot clean stains with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and mild dish soap
Blot gently; do not scrub
Use a cotton swab for tight spots and pleats
Rinse the cloth with clean water and wipe away soap residue
Dry with a clean towel
Let the shades air dry completely before raising them
For stubborn stains, use a fabric-safe cleaner approved by the manufacturer
Avoid soaking the shades
Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, and abrasive cleaners
Avoid machine washing unless the manufacturer says it is safe
Clean cords and hardware with a dry or slightly damp cloth
Test any cleaner on a small hidden area first
