Stand facing the blinds
Locate the bottom rail or pull cord
Hold the bottom rail with one hand if needed
Pull the cord straight down gently
Stop when the blinds reach the desired height
Release the cord to lock the blinds in place
If there is a tilt wand, rotate it to adjust the slats after lowering
